VIA, MSK West Harrison Are Award Winners


The Durst Organization’s VIA WEST 57 is the recipient of the 2015 ACI/Concrete Industry Board Award of Merit with Special Recognition, Architectural Design Winner. This award is given out annually to projects that demonstrate excellence in concrete use in architectural and engineering design, general construction, and workmanship. Architect Bjarke Ingels Group accepted the award on November 4th at the 54th Annual Roger H. Corbetta Awards Ceremony. VIA WEST 57 is a one-of-a-kind, mixed-use residential building on Manhattan’s west side scheduled for completion in 2016. This project has previously been awarded the 2015 Progressive Architecture Award and the 2012 AIA New York Honors and Design Un-Built Merit Award.

Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) West Harrison Regional Cancer Center has been selected for the 2015 ENR New York’s Best Projects Award of Merit in Healthcare. Project team members from Hunter Roberts and architect EwingCole will attend ENR’s Best Projects Event on November 20th to receive this award. Completed in September 2014, this state-of-the-art outpatient cancer treatment center has been recognized by patients, doctors, and technicians for its comprehensive services and patient-oriented design.
