Hunter Roberts completed an extensive renovation of this six-story building at 3020 Market Street. The scope included the replacement of all existing windows with new Low-E windows; cutting in new windows; installation of new white EPDM roof, new stucco façade, and new sprinkler system; and complete renovations to the core bathrooms, main lobby, elevators, fire alarm, electrical and new high-efficiency HVAC system including energy recovery units. The team also performed 35,000 SF of classroom and office fit-outs on the third and fourth floors for Lincoln University. The finishes in the main lobby consist of custom cherry wood wall panels, epoxy terrazzo flooring, and hand-cherry wood security guard console with granite countertops. Hunter Roberts coordinated extensive temporary protection to guard against any damage and to protect the tenants and public during the multiple phases of the lobby renovation. During the renovation of the main lobby and elevators, Hunter Roberts expedited the completion of two of the four elevators and built a temporary entrance so that tenants could safely enter and exit their spaces during the demolition and re-construction. Sitework included all new sidewalks and a new 70-space parking lot with landscaping. The building owner remained a tenant on the first floor throughout the renovations. The project is LEED Silver Certified.
