MSK Opens Hunter Roberts-built West Harrison Facility

October 6, 2014 — Doctors, researchers, patients, and reporters gathered with members of the Westchester community and Hunter Roberts’ West Harrison project team to formally open Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s newest freestanding outpatient facility on October 6. The 114,000-SF cancer treatment center will be staffed by 35 doctors as well as cancer researchers, technicians, and support staff to bring cancer care services to the residents of Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange, and Rockland counties in New York, as well as Fairfield County in Connecticut. The new center, designed by EwingCole and built by Hunter Roberts, received rave reviews from MSK and members of the public. “This new site in West Harrison enables us to further extend the reach of MSK’s unparalleled cancer care and bring the expertise and dedication of our staff closer to where patients live and work,” said MSK President and CEO Craig B. Thompson.
