NYPQ CCU and Amenities Unit Renovation and Expansion Project is a three-phase, 72,500-SF upgrade of the existing spaces within the north and west buildings on NewYork-Presbyterian’s Queens campus. Construction activities include 35,000 SF of gut renovations on the 7th and 8th floors of the north building and a 37,500-SF fit-out of existing shell space in the west building; this will create four new nursing units. The project will result in the addition of 60 new ICU beds as well as renovations to high-end amenity rooms, ICUs, patient rooms, and all MEP systems. These additions and renovations will enable NYPQ to increase high acuity specialty services, such as cardiovascular, surgical, medical, and neurosciences.
