Gut renovation of the Third Floor North Wing of the hospital to build 12 new single-bed patient rooms with private bathrooms and custom headwall systems. A new bariatric room with a patient lift system and an isolation room with an ante-room was also included in this project. Other spaces in the new suite include a nurse’s station with a pneumatic tube system station, a staff lounge, locker room and clean storage. The project also included a new HVAC system comprised of fan coil units and new emergency electrical system with separation of branches that will service the Third Floor North Wing and future Central Wing renovation. Successful coordination with the hospital’s facilities and clinical staff was a key to success in this project.
