Northwell Health Phelps 3C

Northwell Health’s Phelps Hospital has contracted Hunter Roberts to renovate the 3rd floor center wing. Scope will include three additional recovery bays in the existing PACU, as well as rearranging other support spaces and a new semi-restricted corridor. Other new areas include a staff locker room, staff lounge, and family waiting area. The wing’s five existing operating rooms became fully sprinklered as part of the scope. This is a multi-phase project that required extensive coordination with the hospital, since the existing ORs, parts of the PACU, and support spaces will remain in operation during construction.
