This campus-wide contract allows for the New Jersey Institute of Technology to employ Hunter Roberts on an as-needed basis. Completed projects under this contract include: the renovation of ten community bathrooms and the addition of two elevators to Redwood Hall; façade restorations to Eberhardt and Campbell Halls; new laboratories in Faculty Memorial and Tiernan Halls; various office renovations in Guttenberg Information Technology Center and Fenster Hall; an audiometric suite in the CHEN Building; reconstruction, landscaping, and hardscaping of Parking Lot 7; and rehabilitation and fencing of two off-campus parking lots. Current projects include: an 18,500-SF fit-out of the second floor of Fenster Hall; a biometrics laboratory in Guttenberg ITC; and lobby upgrades in Redwood Hall. Opened in 1885 as the Newark Technical School, NJIT has grown and expanded over the past 130 years to include seven colleges that cover fields ranging from computing sciences to engineering and architecture and design.
