Philadelphia, PA
Scroll >

The phased interior renovations to 1900 Market Street, an occupied office building located in the heart of Philadelphia’s business district, included gutting the main lobby and renovating the East and West entry lobbies which consisted of new floors, ceilings, security desks, and turnstiles. Renovations to the main lobby and atrium consisted of demolition and installation of new stone walls, a new koi pond, new ornamental towers, all new flooring, new planters, extensive plantings and landscaping, and new interior atrium façade including new paint, glass and ornamental “greenhouses”. Hunter Roberts also gutted and renovated all core bathrooms on floors three through eight.

The atrium has been transformed into more than 50,000 square feet of multiuse space for tenants and visitors designed to maximize chance encounters, create opportunities for mobile work and encourage social interaction. The improved atrium also serves as a magnet for hosting public events, providing the owner with an additional revenue stream.
