A successful business must always remember that it

co-exists with the communities in which it operates.

That is especially true for Hunter Roberts, as our work contributes visibly and economically to the public landscape of the surrounding cities and towns. We take great pride in our role as corporate citizens and seek opportunities to demonstrate our commitment to society and surrounding communities through:
  • Contributing time and financial resources to relevant charities, fundraising, and sponsorship activities;
  • Volunteering expertise through pro-bono work;
  • Encouraging and supporting employees to give back to their communities through work with charities; and
  • Maintaining the highest standards of environmental stewardship on all of our projects.
The Year of Giving Program is a strategic initiative implemented at Hunter Roberts that encourages staff members to volunteer their time and effort to charitable causes. Each quarter, an organized volunteer opportunity will be made available to staff to participate in. Outreach is a key component in the company’s overall community involvement efforts. Volunteering makes people feel good, it balances their work and personal life, and it helps to develop innovation and creativity. In 2013, the Year of Giving Program includes the following organizations: New York City Rescue Mission, American Heart Association, Habitat for Humanity, and New York Cares.
