Hunter Roberts is providing pre-construction and construction management services to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital for the multi-phased improvements project at the Edward S. Harkness Eye Institute, located on the NYPH Columbia Campus at 165th Street and Fort Washington Avenue in Manhattan. Project scope includes:
Project A
- Decanting of office space on the third floor, followed by demolition and interior fit-out of space, and relocation of the Faculty Practice Offices from the first to third floor
- Demolition and interior fit-out of the first floor, followed by a relocation of the Eye Clinic from the Lower Level
- Cosmetic renovations to the second and fourth floors
- Infrastructure improvements, including hot and cold domestic water risers, perimeter heating risers, HVAC, air handlers, and medical gas systems, as well as the architectural modifications necessary to accommodate the improvements
- Relocation of the optics shop and new coffee shop
- Renovation of the 165th Street entrance lobby and new exterior canopy
- 165th Street driveway site improvements

- Electrical system upgrades for new electrical risers and closets throughout the building

- Stair Tower B life safety improvements
