The South Jersey Transportation Authority has been upgrading the facilities at Atlantic City International Airport, the fastest growing regional airport in the Northeast. Hunter Roberts provided general contracting services for a 6,000 SF Passenger Checkpoint Expansion. The construction included demolition of existing terminal areas and temporary conditions; installation of modular office trailers, interior spaces and finishes, HVAC systems, fire protection systems, and electrical systems; the installation and connection of IT, communication, and security systems and infrastructure; the installation of Passenger Checkpoint equipment supplied by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA); and the procurement and installation of specialized and general building equipment.
