Hunter Roberts Delivers for DIFFA

March 24, 2015 –In collaboration with Handel Architects, Fendi Casa, and Manhattan Magazine, Hunter Roberts contributed time and resources to support the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) Dining by Design fundraiser in March. For two days, Superintendent Jeremy DeSane and members of the Hunter Roberts workforce pooled their efforts to assist Handel’s New York Director of Interior Design Noelia Ibanez in realizing her vision titled “In a Dining Fashion.”

Ibanez was selected to design a space for the annual fundraiser, which directly benefits DIFFA’s fundraising and grant-disseminating goals. Hunter Roberts’ contributions were made to show support for DIFFA and our partner Handel Architects, but gave the added benefit of exposing the company to a wide variety of high-end clients and A-list partners. This year’s Dining by Design event was co-located at Pier 92 in a 30,000-SF space with the Architectural Digest Home Design Show.

The designer’s final rendering was meticulously built out by the Hunter Roberts team. It personified, in Ibanez’s words, “… the essence of fashion, dining, and sophistication in an inwardly-reflective space.”

“We are cognizant of the incredible effort that it took on your part to get it done, and we are truly grateful,” said Tony Donofrio, a senior associate at Handel.
